About Me.
I am a New York University-trained Licensed Social Worker with experience working with a diverse range of people, types of presenting issues, and in a wide variety of settings.
In my career as a therapist, I have worked at bustling mental health clinics across Manhattan offering therapy to adults, children, teens, couples, and families fostering their journies toward health and self-knowledge. Throughout this time, I have developed expertise in working with people who have experienced sexual abuse and assault. I also specialize in maternal mental health, from issues with conception, pregnancy, and birth, to new parenthood and beyond. In both of these areas of specialization, I combine my knowledge of best practices in treating these issues with the understanding that every individual or couple’s experience is always unique.
In my work, I've seen how powerful it is for people to connect with a therapist who is genuinely curious about them. I strive to truly understand people for who they are rather than just focusing on their problems or symptoms. This involves delving into an individual's, couple's, or family's pain, which requires honesty, courage, and care from both the patients and myself.
